Custom Windows, Durable Siding, and Sunrooms You’ll Enjoy all Year.
Improving Raleigh Homes For Over 40 Years
What We Do for Triangle Homeowners
Your home is one of the biggest investments you will ever make. Are your windows drafty? Is your siding cracked and faded? Do you have a screen porch that collects more pollen than people?
Your home should feel good year-round, inside and out. At Harland Windows & Siding, we make that happen with new windows, durable siding, and sunrooms built for every season.
We’ve been helping the Triangle homeowners match the right products to their homes and weather for over 40 years. From humid summers to cold winters, our solutions are built to last.
We handle windows, siding, and sunrooms for homes in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, Apex, Wake Forest, and dozens of surrounding towns.
WINDOWS
Old windows waste energy and make your home uncomfortable. You feel the drafts. You hear every noise from outside. Your energy bills keep climbing.
We replace old windows with custom-made Heat Mirror high-efficiency windows. These are not the basic double-pane windows you find at big box stores. Heat Mirror technology keeps your home cooler in summer and warmer in winter.
Are you thinking about replacing every window in your house? Whole-house window replacements give you the biggest improvement in comfort and energy savings.
Do you have a screen porch that sits empty most of the year? Pollen in the spring. Mosquitoes in the summer. Cold air in the fall. That room could be so much more.
We convert screen porches into beautiful EzeBreeze sunrooms by PGT Industries. These vinyl panel systems give you fresh air when you want it and full protection when you need it. The panels slide open and closed in seconds.
Want something more permanent? We also build fully heated sunrooms with insulated walls and Heat Mirror windows. Use the room in July or January. Your choice.
SIDING
Your siding does more than make your house look good. It protects the structure underneath from rain, wind, and insects. When siding cracks, warps, or pulls away from the wall, your home is exposed.
We remove your old siding and replace it with new material that fits your home and your budget. This is not a cover-up job. We strip the old material, inspect what is underneath, and install fresh siding the right way.
Not sure if your siding needs replacing? Look for cracks, warping, soft spots, or areas where paint keeps peeling. These are signs that the material is failing.

Why Triangle Homeowners Choose Harland
There are plenty of contractors in the Triangle. Here's what sets us apart after more than 40 years of work in this specific market.
Heat Mirror Certified Installer
We're one of a small number of certified installers of Heat Mirror window technology in North Carolina, a performance tier above standard double-pane that most contractors don't offer.
Manufacturer-Backed Warranties
Our windows and EzeBreeze sunroom panels carry manufacturer warranties. We also stand behind our installation. If something isn't right after we leave, call us and we'll fix it.
We Know Triangle Weather
The humid summers, the pollen, the occasional ice storm. Every product we recommend is chosen for how it performs in this climate, not just how it looks on a spec sheet.

Common Questions From Triangle Homeowners
How long does a whole-house window replacement take?
Most whole-house replacements take one to two days depending on the number of windows. We measure and order custom windows before scheduling installation, so there's no waiting around once we arrive.
Do I need to replace all my windows at once?
No. We can replace a single window or do one room at a time if budget is a concern. That said, whole-house replacements give you the biggest improvement in comfort and energy savings. You also get a consistent look throughout the home.
What's the difference between an EzeBreeze sunroom and a fully enclosed sunroom?
EzeBreeze panels slide open and closed, giving you fresh air when you want it and full protection when you need it. A fully enclosed sunroom has insulated walls and glass, making it a true year-round living space with heating and cooling. We build both. It comes down to how you plan to use the room and your budget.
How do I know if my siding needs replacing or just repainting?
Paint fades and can be refreshed. Siding that is cracking, warping, developing soft spots, or pulling away from the wall is failing structurally — paint won't fix that. If you're touching up the same spot every few years, the material underneath is likely the real problem.
Do you serve my neighborhood?
We work throughout the Triangle and surrounding counties. Use the lists above to find your city or neighborhood. If you don't see it, call us at 919-851-0060. We may still be able to help.
